De-clutter
Most perfectly normal families live in a state of clutter. For someone coming to view a house for the first time, the impact that a simple tidy-up makes will be a big one. Potential viewers need to imagine how they and their own furniture and possessions will look and fit into your house so by clearing spaces as much as possible, you will assist them in that process and increase the likelihood of them placing a bid.
Clean
Build-up of dust and dirt can be very off-putting so it really pays off to invest that extra bit of time to ensure your property is clean and tidy for viewers. This is particularly important in the high-impact zones such as the entrance hall, kitchen and living room.
